In 2025, PFERD TOOLS completes 25 years of history in Brazil. Over the years, the company has gained the market's trust through excellence and – of course – with a lot of innovation. The PFERD TOOLS formula is focused on the success of its customers, offering personalized technical consultancy, high-performance abrasive tools and added value, together with the best user experience.
This trajectory began in August 2000, in Curitiba, when PFERD TOOLS of Brazil was founded and took the first step towards a long journey of success and achievements. Since then, it has been operating in the local industrial market with more than 9,500 products, continuous training programs, dedicated technical consultants and sales support throughout the country.

Company Foundation
In 1799, Johan Caspar Rüggeberg began the production of files and rasps in Rüggeberg, Germany, marking the beginning of a path of excellence in tool manufacturing.
Moving to Marienheide
In 1897, August Rüggeberg decided to move the company's headquarters to Marienheide, where it remains today, consolidating its operations and expanding its production.
