In 1799, Johan Caspar Rüggeberg began the production of files and rasps in Rüggeberg, Germany, marking the beginning of a path of excellence in tool manufacturing.
Moving to Marienheide
In 1897, August Rüggeberg decided to move the company's headquarters to Marienheide, where it remains today, consolidating its operations and expanding its production.

In Brazil, since 2008, PFERD TOOLS has been the only one authorized to sell high-quality flexible abrasives from VSM, a German manufacturer, expanding its portfolio to various industrial processes.
