Description

Felt flap discs are used for pre-polishing and high-gloss polishing on medium-sized to large components.

Due to their hardness and flexibility, felt flap discs are used when the exact form of geometric shapes has to be maintained. As a general rule, diamond polishing pastes and polishing paste bars are used for this.
Advantages
  • Highly flexible, enabling optimal adjustment to the contour.
  • Can be profiled as desired, meaning they can also be used for tools with complex geometries.
  • Low thermal load on the workpiece.
Recommendations for use
  • Use the soft type for buffing and processing workpieces with lots of contours. If very fine finishes need to be achieved, the hard and soft versions can be used successively.
